About

Andaluz

Andaluz is an independent AI systems research programme developing Kernel ANN: an architecture exploring structural separation between mutable optimisation and the authority governing consequential effects.

The programme is narrow by design. Work is published as bounded experimental results and formal records, and claims advance only when evidence advances.

Founder

Sergiu Margan

Andaluz was founded by Sergiu Margan, an independent researcher. He develops the research programme and runs its experiments.

A broader body of research predates Andaluz and led to Kernel ANN: work on optimisation under constraint, non-bypassability, closure and repair, and the Coherence Wall. That earlier corpus is provenance for the architectural commitments, not experimental support for them. It remains published on his personal archive.
